STUDIO POLICIES

 General Rules 

  1.  Arrive 5-10 minutes early to class.  If you are more than 5 minutes late you may lose your spot.

  2.  Shoes must be removed before class.  Grip socks are REQUIRED for your safety and are available for sale at the studio.

  3.  Instructors are subject to change at any time without notice.

  4.  24 hours’ prior notice (Personal Sessions) or 12 hours’ prior notice (Group Classes) is required for all cancellations and schedule changes.  Any class/appointment missed, late canceled, or changed without proper notice will result in a penalty. Please refer to the penalties on our Terms & Conditions page.

  5.   If you are unable to come to group class, please make sure to cancel (even if it’s a late cancellation), as a courtesy to open space for other students. Please remember we only have 7 spots in our group classes.

Minors Policy

A separate parent/guardian waiver must be signed for all minors under the age of 18 by the minor’s parent or guardian on behalf of the minor. For minors over the age of 16, the parent or guardian who signs the waiver must accompany them for their first visit. For minors under the age of 16, they must be accompanied by their parent or guardian at all times on Kore Pilates premises, including all studio locations, offsite venues, and other locations of operation. I understand that minors under the age of 13 are not permitted on any Kore Pilates premises, including all studio locations, offsite venues, and other locations of operation.

Tardiness Policy

Please arrive to class on time. If you arrive more than 5 minutes after the class start time, you may not be able to participate. Our tardiness policy is in place for the following reasons:

  1. Late arrivals are disruptive to the class and to the instructors’ program.

  2. It is potentially dangerous to other clients if the instructor has to take their eyes off of them to help a tardy client set up.

  3. The first 5 minutes of class are spent with a warm-up and the chances of injury are greater if you jump right into a more intense exercise.

Purchase Policy

All sales are final. We do not offer refunds or exchanges on any merchandise, personal sessions, classes, memberships, renewal auto-payments, late cancellation penalties, and no-show penalties. No sharing or splitting of memberships or packages.

Waitlist Policy

There are 3 spots available on the waitlist for each class. If a class does not show a “Book” or a “Waitlist” button, then the waitlist is full. You must be opted-in to receiving emails/texts in order to be notified when a spot opens up for the waitlist. You can opt yourself in for notifications by logging into your account.

You will be notified automatically if a spot opens up more than 12 hours before the class time.  In order to avoid a late cancellation penalty, please remove yourself from the waitlist if you are no longer interested in taking that class or will not be able to attend.

If you are on a membership with a limited number of classes, such as the Silver Membership (4 classes), and you add yourself to a waitlist for a 5th class, the system will allow it but if you get added to that class from waitlist, you will be charged for a Single Class since all of your credits have been used. Please keep track of the number of classes you are booking/waitlisting and make sure you have class credits available.

Pregnancy Policy

All prenatal clients must provide a note of clearance from their doctor before beginning Pilates classes or private lessons. Pregnant clients are able to attend only the Beginner classes and Reformer Sculpt & Stretch classes up until the end of your first trimester (12 weeks). Clients who are past 12 weeks in their pregnancy must take private lessons for the remainder of their pregnancy. This is to ensure the safety of you and your baby.

Lost Items Policy

Kore Pilates shall not be held liable for any lost items. Customers are responsible for the safekeeping of their belongings, and Kore Pilates assumes no responsibility for the loss, theft, or damage of personal items while on our premises or using our services.

Photo Release

Client understands and consents to photos being taken in studio and understands they may be in the background of other photos or videos being taken by or of other clients.
